I bought a Gazelle O/U 12 gauge last September at for $300 on sale and have shot 500+ rounds through it with no problems yet. Wanted to see if there are any other Gazelle owners and shooters out there and what their experiences were.
My own experiences have generally been positive and I was pleasantly surprised knowing that Turkish firearms have had mixed reviews. My only complaint is that it took some practice to get used to the double triggers but otherwise I am quite happy with it. Nice wood, clean lines, and allowed me to get an O/U without breaking the budget. Interestingly this shotgun is easier to clean than my other RemWinMoss pieces in that the barrels seem to need far fewer patches and passes with the rod and brush. Someday I'll replace the Athena I foolishly got rid of years ago but til then, the Gazelle has been a reasonable substitute.
