NAA .22 Mag
« on: May 14, 2004, 01:02:43 PM »
I've been wanting one of the tiny NAA revolvers for a while. I was thinking about the .22 Magnum model, loaded with shotshells, to drop in my pocket when hunting to deal with snakes which seem to be everywhere for some reason. If anyone has one of these, I'd like to hear your comments and impressions.
Thanks

I'd be mighty careful about carrying one of those little things loaded in my pocket--the thing might go off and shoot your shorts snake.

I love mine. The 22lr version. Its my gun for when I cant carry a gun. I also carry a good knife with it though. They have a safety notch for the hammer between the chambers. If you dont feel comfy with that you could keep the hammer on an empty chamber as in any single action. If they are still available I would go for the extra 22lr cylinder also if you get the 22mag. A lot cheaper to shoot. A gun magazine had a trick question some years back.
What handgun has the most recoil in proportion to its weight?
Dont know if it still holds true with all the supermags and ultralightweight carry guns now but at the time it was the NAA 22mag.
Youll like it.

I've had one for 18 years and hope to carry it many more! I got a pocket holster from NAA that is flat and has a pouch that holds 9 rounds of ammo that works great for keeping it all together & safe. It's one of the few guns I've had that I would replace with another NAA if something happened to it.

Shot shells work good in it up to about 15 feet.

Get you one or two, you'll like'em
