Factory Load for T/C .41 Magnum

Have a new 11" T/C .41 Magnum.  Looking for a good Whtietail load at the faster speeds with a T/C.  Was considering the Remington soft points because thought they might work well at the higher velocities.

Also hunt with a 6.5" RBH but figured I might want to use a different load with the two .41s.

As far as factory loads go for your .41Magnum T/C, I can recommend the Federal Premium 210gr.JHP, the PMC 210gr.JHP, Corbon 210gr.JHC, and the Winchester 240gr.Platimun-tip ammo for whitetail. For a handload, I like the Hornady XTP 210gr., the Nosler 210gr.JHP, and Speer's half jacket 200gr bullet as a whitetail, mulie, antelope, impala, etc. round. This is ahead of a 20gr+ dose of W296/H110.

Have fun with the .41Maqnum T/C. I've got two 10 inch barrels. One is .41Magnum and the other I had reamed to .414SM. Both work really well on deer-sized game and hogs.

While this is not a faster speed / lighter bullet load, but at least a couple of the IHMSA guys are shooting 17gr H110 under a 270gr Leadheads flatpoint hardcast bullet.  I've tried it in my SBH and it is the most accurate load I've found.

http://www.federalcartridge.com/ammo30/handgun_results.aspx IMHO is the best "factory" hunting load out there for the .41 RemMag. This load is a duplicate of my current hunting reload. It even uses the exact bullet from CPBT that I use. I worked for about 6 months to build this load and low and behold just 3 weeks after I got it all locked in the Federal load hits the market. BTY this load has accounted for three large (600+ pounds)animals all one shot died where they stood. Killed so many deer and pigs  I don't count anymore. Out of your Contender this load should do 1400FPS+ and that equates into a real killing machine.
