IF the barrel is short chambered you'll need a chamber reamer and a headspace guage, barrel vise, action wrench, and anti seize lube..  Plus a bit of knowledge.  If the barrel is long chambered, you'll also probably need to add a lathe to that list.  Also needed (possibly) is a depth mike or calipher..  and perhaps a counter boring bit for the counter sink on the end of the barrel for the bolt nose.  A jig to retain the recoil lug in the correct attitude (verticle) is also very nice..  Other tooling to true the action and lap in the lugs etc. is not 'necesssary' but is a good idea for maximum accuracy..  There may be other tooling I'm missing,,, the old brain's not functioning too well...

DD I guess I owe YOU one..  You are of course right!!  (just a small miracle in itself!!)..  HEHE!  In any case the action needs to be a short action with a standard bolt face..  A long action would also work but the 22-250 might have feeding problems from that magazine.  Of course one could to a 22 TTH or a 22/243 or a Oh you get the idea...  The TTH(Texas Trophy Hunter) would probably benefit the most.  the longer mag would allow those heavy(=long) 224 caliber slugs to sit as for out as possible...although with a standard twist the limit weight wise would be a bit limited..  Oh and there would also be a need for knowledge.  One has to know how to set it all up...
