76,

When I got my new 357 Tracker Ti, the cylinder wasn't aligned properly with the forcing cone and the bullet jackets were being shaved off passing into the forcing cone.  Also, the gun would lock up about every 30 shots or so.  You couldn't move the hammer or trigger at all until you forced the cylinder release open and that would make everything operate again.

I shipped it off to Taurus shortly thereafter.  They shipped it back about 6 weeks later.  There was no note in it saying what they did to the gun but there were some tool marks on the gun and the front sight looks like they used a Dremmel tool on it.

I have shot about 200 rds through it since it came back and everything seems to have been fixed.  It is a light gun, feels good and is accurate as can be!  I'm keeping it.

Good luck with your Taurus!

TJF76...Did you ever get a chance to shoot that SS 357 Tracker Revolver at the range?  I was curious how your results were.

American Hunter published an article in the May 04 issue that talked about hunting pistols and it named a few that the author recommended.  The Titanium version of the 357 Tracker was one of the guns that he mentioned.
