Does any one have any info on Ithaca rifles? The local dealer has a 30-06 that apparently was made by Sako for about $400. Any info ?

Actually, they were made by Tikka I believe. IMHO, they are a darned good rifle. I inherited one from my Father in .25-06, and it shoots well, and is one pretty gun. I know that I would pick one up for $400 if it was a clean gun.

That"s exactly what it is an LSA-55 and like you said it's stamped on the barrel, made in Finland.
