REGARDING BARREL SHROUDS, FOR THE DAN WESSON, MODEL 22VH(SMALL FRAME)REVOLVER:

1)Will any shroud(Except for the older, pork chop, style)fit this Model 22VH revolver(Whether a shroud for a .22 or a .357?)or, are these shroud's different(Or, would it just be the barrel nut, that might be different?)?

2)Is there any problem fitting the stainless(Barrel and shroud)from the Model 722 DW revolver, to any "Blued" Model 22VH revolver?

Please comment, on the above(For this "Newbie" to Dan Wesson's)? I need this information! Thanks!

I'm just guessing, but I don't think you could use a .357 shroud on a .22. They go to great length's to make sure people don't mis-match part's.

Call Dan Wesson and ask them.

No!!
They are made different on purpose.
No other caliber or shroud barrel etc. will work in any other DW..
That would open them up to liability.
All this info is on DWs webpage..
And Monson Magnum did you see this auction?

No I didn't see that. I'm kinda off gun's right now. I've been buisy trying to sell my El Camino, and looking at new truck's. But I'm sure it's only tempory insanity.

Looks like this one a Refurbed Police Trade In that has the Police Insignia Milled off the slide like in the pic,And the Slide has been ReBlued and It came out Purple just like some DWs..See Pics.
