Hey guys,anybody had any dealings with the Savage Mark II FXP .22 LR bolt action w/4 x 15 scope.On Savage website msrp is $154.00;"Wally World" has it for $99.00.What's ya'll opinion??...........Rick

I think you can't beat it for the price.  I personally like the shape of the wood stock better than the synthetic, so it might be worth trying both before you buy.  You can mess around with the trigger a little bit (see savage section in the forums at rimfirecentral.com) or buy an after-market adjustable sear.  The one I own is a little kid's Savage Cub rifle, so I don't have a lot of other experience.

Thanks pAndy,I have a Remington 700adl synthetic .30/06 and Winchester 70 .300 wsm "Super Shadow".I really like the synthetic.I think it's the neatest thing since "sliced bread" :lol: .That was one of the main reasons I looked at it.NO MORE wood for me.Think I might just go and pick it up this weekend.Thanks again for your input........Rick
