For deer the 200 Sierra is a bit softer than the 220 Hornady and the extra velocity helps expansion. While RL-7 works well, I prefer AA1680, particularly in short barrels. Expect well over 2100 fps with a max load of this powder, and with less recoil than the 220 Hornadys; 33 grains gives the 200s around 1800 fps and mild recoil.
I've used the 220s in my M1894 rifle with good results on deer, but IMO the Sierras are better for deer in a handgun. For larger game the 220s would be superior.
