I've 2 CZ 527 FS models.  One is a 223 the other a 22 hornet.  I've another 223, a 700BDL and the CZ fullstock carbine consistantly outshoots it.  The Hornet is just the most accurate Hornet I've ever dealt with and that's been a few.  As of now it is quite a bit better than a M54 Winchester and a Kimber of oregon M82c.  The wood is better than the average american produced weapon and they're made of steel and walnut!  The stock finish is poor and I've heard people complain of problems with the magazines not wanting to feed smothly.  I've not encountered any problems with mine...

ljohn,
I shoot a CZ 527 Lux.  It's an excellent shooter...very accurate.  No plastic, all machined steele.  A couple of buddies have the varmit models one with the sythetic stock, the other with the laminated stock.  Both are of the same high quality and are tack-drivers.
Mine even shoots the milsurp. fairly well...better than some brands shoot the good stuff.
They are available in the Lux model (european style stock), the American, the fullstock and two heavy barreled varmit models.
I've yet to see one that didn't shoot well.
I don't think you can go wrong with one.  And, the prices aren't too bad.
Also, they have an excellent scope mounting system.
Hope this helps.
