LOOKING FOR SOME HELP / ADVICE !
I just ordered a Fox Ridge 24" HEAVY Barrel,( not the full bull) in SS cal. .223 & was wondering if anyone else shoots one ? Do you have any good data ? I want it for groundhogs & varmits out to I hope 200 yards.
Has anyone got one & are you happy, or did I make a big mistake.
Thank you in advance for your time,& help.

I have a 20" custom shop barrel for a contender that shoots very well. I use a near max charge of H335 with a Sierra 55gr spitzer and a winchester SRP. KN

I have the T/C factory 26" heavy barrel.
I get consistant 1/2" groups at 100 yards that widen to 1" at 200 yards.
I can still hold a 1" group at 250 yards.
All this with Sellier & Belliot 55grain FMJ ammo.
I purchased this barrel for benchrest target practice and varmit hunting.
Needless to say, I'm very pleased.
You will do as good as or likely better with the Fox Ridge custom.
The .223 is a very accurate cartridge.
