.410 barrel length

Anyone have any information on the performance of the .410 barrel in 10" vs. 14" for the contender?  I plan on using it for squirell and rabbit and maybe a turkey with 3" shells.  Does the 14" perform significantly better?  Any and all wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

I had one in a 10" and now have one in a 16".  Every time I try to shoot squirrels with either of them they sit there and laugh at me after the gun goes off.  I know others hunt squirrels with them but I have not had any luck.

Hey Gramps

I have patterned the gun and it would appear to have a good enough pattern to do the job at 20 yards or less.

I will probably try it again this weekend unless I opt for some headshots with the 17 HMR.  Maybe I will have some better luck.
