Regarding win 94 value. I have a 94 win #99xxxx, No rear sight. Has a peep sighr {Williams}. Missing saddle ring. I think it is nra good. Bluong is gone and has a ding in the forearm. Probably shot 200 rounds while my dad had it. Mechanically ok. Cresent steel butplate. Is this a collector item or just a good hunting rifle? Appreciate approximate value. I don't want to give it away if it is worth more as a vintage piece. Thanks

based on your serial number, it was made in 1925 or 1926. hard to give a value on these things, especially without seeing it, but it is probably a nice collectors piece

The lack of original finish would indicate that your '94 is a hunter/shooter rather than a collector gun. What is the caliber? I'm assuming .30WCF. Great huntin' gun regardless of exterior condition.
