Bore guides
« on: April 05, 2004, 09:11:54 AM »
Hi guys!
Over the weekend I was at the Tulsa gun show and bought my first T/C.
I got an Encore 26" regular contour blue 243 with syn stocks.

I will shoot it this weekend if weather permits.

This will be my coyote/Deer rifle gun since I sold my Ruger MII M77 243 to get the $$ to buy the Encore.

I’m sure there will be many questions to fallow but here is the only one I have for now.
Does anyone make a bore guide for the T/C Encore?
Thanks.
Water Rat

Rat, this is what I do.  I take a sized case and drill out the primer pocket a little larger than the cleaning rod.  I have one of these for each caliber barrel I own.  Its the cheap way out, but it works.

You can get them from Sinclair International (www.sinclairintl.com). I have several.
