204 ruger?

I want a 17 remington but TC don't make one in the factory barrel so I am considering the 204 Ruger!! Anyone have one yet? Whats your thought on the new cartrige? Do ya think Tc will make a good barrel in the Ruger 204? Thanks!! :?

Fox Ridge aka T/C Arms makes a .17 Rem-I have one. As far as the 204 I am on the fence being it is new and factory loads are going to pricey, Of course if you reload it won't be too bad. I am partial to the .17 Rem being it has proved itself with longevity. JMHO. Every place I have seen state that the 204 barrels will be available "mid year".

You can get barrels for eather from Bullberry or Virgina Valley, and afew others. They cost alittle more but what I seen from the 3 Bullberry barrels I own they are worth it. I don`t think that Bullberry has the .204 yet, but they do have the .17 rems. and theyshoot real well.

Do you want it for an Encore or a Contender?  There is a Conteder 17 Rem in the classified section now.  Ed always list them on his barrel list for the Contender and I think he has some Fox Ridge Encore 17 Rems on his custom list.

TC will start making the 204 ruger barrels the middle of april. Some will be out the last of May. I don't know barrel length's or prices. Twyman
