Watch your burgers..
« on: Yesterday at 12:39:35 AM »
Could it be that certain forces are trying to force a new diet upon the world ?

Some reports tell of an artificial beef being cooked up, while others tellof some clandestine planting of tics by which once bitten, a person can no longer tolerate real meat.
As per usual the real truth is difficult to sus out.  In any case, I surely do not want to be consuming any ersatz, or faux beef !

Perhaps a good time to establish a relationship with a local beef producer who markets his own product.

Maybe just go back to the ground and dust off the old deer rifle. I have heard a bit about the ticks and there seem to be a multitude of disease they carry. Here say is boxes filled with millions of ticks are being scattered about. True or false I don?t know.

My wife got ?Alpha-gal Syndrome? from a tick bite many years ago. She can?t eat beef, pork or meat from any other hoofed animal ( goat, deer). It?s a real thing. She breaks out in bad hives, could potentially block her airway. No cure for it.

Does that mean she can eat meat that does not have a hoof? Rabbit chicken fish etc

Yes Mule, we eat a lot of chicken, turkey and any kind of seafood. I?ll still eat bacon and pork. When we go out I?ll get steaks or burgers. She?s a vegetable eater (not a vegan), so she doesn?t miss it much. I just hope I don?t get that crap.

You and me both, I have gotten a bit nervous about ticks lately. Kinda strange when there really is so much more to worry about now other then disease ridden pests. OOPS sorry for bringing the illegal aliens into the conversation.
