To lump our entire government all into a monolithic body is a bit too presumptuous. If they were all in agreement, we peons would already be living in small apartments that look like stacked shoeboxes, and going regularly to work in government farms, factories or mines.
While deep state actors and radical leftists share certain characteristics, the remainder of either faction are as far apart as east is from west. Elsewise, there would be total agreement between the two, and we would already be enslaved.
Some of the divergent attributes of basic right and left are poles apart. I see it as quite obvious how the right is motivated by the U.S. Constitution, while the left are "control freaks"..
While mankind is surely in a fallen state, there are still some admirable attributes among some men.
In my view (generalizations):
The Right fears God and sees all citizens as being share holders in the national legacy, as set fourth in our founding documents: e.g. The Declaration of Independence, the Federalist Papers, our Constitution and Bill of rights !
The left eschews any honoring of God and has followed the example of the French Jacobins, and seeks a state where government is their god. They see humans as the highest expression of creation (accidental evolution, in their case), thus when humans adopt a government, humanity being their highest attainment, generally a "supreme leader' is their closest expression of a god.
We see that reflected in the more militant leftist nations, such as Pol Pot's Cambodia, Joseph Stalin's USSR and north Korea's Kim family..one after another.
Frankly, and this is just my opinion albeit shared by studious Christians, that this is the very reason the USA has risen from a small, colonial power, to the lofty position of being the #1 super power today.
Bear in mind however, we could just as easily fall from this high perch if we neglect the God who elevated the USA.
We nearly did so (IMO) during the years between 2008 and 2025, when our very sponsor was not only ignored but escorted out of any contact with our governmental heads.
When He was again honored in the halls of our government, things rapidly improved.
That God honoring motive is the greatest difference between Left and right, and is clearly evident whenever either holds ascendancy in Washington.
There are just 2 spiritual forces that govern the ebb and flow of all creation. ...And we all individually, must make our choice.
