Another Iran Deal?
« on: May 24, 2026, 04:02:21 AM »
Well here we go again. Trump says Washington and Iran have "largely negotiated" a memorandum of understanding on a peace deal that would reopen the Strait of Hormuz, U.S. President Donald Trump said, as expectations rose that a turning point might be imminent in the three-month-old war.

Trump posted on social media that the emerging agreement would reopen the strait, the vital shipping passage whose closure has sparked a global energy crisis since the U.S. and Israel launched the war on Iran in February. He did not say what else would be included in an agreement.

Iran had this to say....ran's Fars news agency said the draft also stipulates that the U.S. and its allies will not attack Iran or its allies, and in return Iran pledges not to launch preemptive attacks on them.

Israel had this to say
Prominent Israeli politician Benny Gantz said it would be a strategic mistake for Israel to accept a ceasefire in Lebanon, where it is fighting the Iranian-backed Hezbollah militia, as part of a deal with Iran.

Wouldn't surprise me that Israel launches a surprise attack against Lebanon after the handshake, and the beat goes on. They want this war badly, and for us to fight it for them.

the right/left yardstick is a French Revolution-born human measure. It reflects the political spectrum, which is determined by the people’s range of beliefs. Christians, however (and everyone, in fact), should make Truth their yardstick. This inerrant guide doesn’t compromise and build consensus, either; it’s not a politician. It dictates where reality lies. And in a civilization claiming 2+2=5, it’s with the “extremist” who insists it’s 4. For God’s realism so often is man’s radicalism.

Yep, a peace deal is the last thing that Israel wants. They have us fighting the war for them, and they don't want that to end. This war had squat to do with Irans nuclear capability. Guess we will see how much control Trump has over Israel, or how much control Israel has over Trump.

Sure doesn't look like either side is trying to hard. Iran is holding the straits hostage and keeping oil price's up, and Trump comes out with some posts about Greenland and Cuba. You'd think he'd have this war front and center to end it. And I'm still trying to find out what caused a major explosion in Israel on the 15th a week ago. Anybody else see the video, almost looked like a nuke went off. They said it was a explosive's plant that made rockets and missle's for Israel. Said it was a test, that sure doesn't make any sense. You don't stop and test your gun when your in the middle of a shoot out. Crazy stuff taking place.
We keep trying peace, it usually doesn't work!!Remember(12/7/41)(9/11/01) gypsyman

You may be listening to to the wrong news source.  Those with TDS are trying to be as negative as possible. That deal was a no go from the outset..

My point being with this is, the 10% have said nothing but ill about President Trump. They will say ? I was behind, voted for, etc etc add nauseum. When was the last positive statement. At this time he does nothing right by what is said. So, TDS?

There is always a new deal with Iran on weekends, to manipulate the stock market for the coming week. So the billionaires can keep making money. As other deals went this one seems to have been scrapped. Trump wanted to sign the deal, but rumor has it he got a call from Netanyahu ending the deal. Yes its Israel's war and they are keeping us in it, along with Neocons like Lindsey. Unless Trump puts his foot down and tells Israeli to end the BS. We will be in another forever war. America first. Right??

In Iraq we had to get the weapons of mass destruction. Now in Iran we have to get the uranium. After we get told how many times we are close to a deal, more bombs are dropped and more missiles are launched. At the onset we were told 3-4 weeks. So who knows how long this will last. We have been told we won how many times? If you win a war you don't have to make deals. I and many other Americans are tired of listening to the BS. Our government lying all the time conditions people to accept the lying. Which is very evident.

The only way to deal with bullies is to give them a good beating? In this case, they are religious fanatics and may require more than that.

That?s a nasty regime there in Iran. They have no honor, no integrity. Nothing they say is to be trusted. Even their removal won?t mean an end to the violence, just maybe the scope of the violence. The people of Iran need to wipe out the savage hangers-on and work on stabilizing the country.
