Anti " fishermen "
« on: March 31, 2026, 07:43:02 AM »
I guess the woke are running out of things to
diddle with.

I'm encountering those who get upset at seeing
a legally licensed fisherman bringing in a fish and
retaining it to cut up and cook and eat.
I've even heard of those ranting about cutting
up/ killing a fellow sentient being, and how fish
and animals are feeling horror at being caught/hunted
and killed as if they were a human.

Sorry, we've been patient with these delusional
people too long, and now they're trying to keep
us from persuing fish and game

It has been that way in the U.K. for decades.
I used to subscribe to a British fishing magazine, and they think if you want to eat fish, you go to
the market and buy some.
They loathed the East Europeans who came to the U.K. to catch and eat fish.  Of course for the Brits, fish exist to be caught
admired and released to be caught again, not to be eaten.

What the "woke" don't understand, is that in many states, (if not all), there are laws in place making it a crime to harass hunters and fishermen while they're pursuing their legal, chosen pastime.  It's a damn shame that the sportsman still gets his outing destroyed while waiting for a game warden, IF you can contact them that soon, and if they can arrive in time to site the perpetrator.
Some of them also don't realize just what COULD happen to them for harassing a sportsman.  After all, the chances are good that they're breaking state law, OUT IN THE WILD, where no one can hear their screams.

Just sayin'.....Roger

  Evident "woke" deduction...

"...Cut up a fish you caught. and you're a despicable murderer, but cut up a pre-born boy or girl, and you are doing just fine. "  :o

In my younger, less compassionate days, some
of us had stopped for a bite on the way to the
Gulf to fish the rigs. ( 1990's ?)
Anyway someone comnented about all of us
having a chicken fried steak and how the poor
animal was scared while awaiting slaughter
etc. etc.
I was tired and impatient and told them loudly
that regardless of what you stick in your mouth,
a living thing had to die to sustain your life.
They got indignant and I reminded them that
plants were alive, and fruit and vegetables were
a plant's offspring, and that everybody spreads
poison daily through their body waste and taking
in valuable oxygen and potable water, and expelling
poison carbon dioxide and acidic ammonia-filled
urine. That always gets em by pointing out their
very existence/survival depends on something
else dying
