Sayonara, NATO ?
« on: Yesterday at 10:56:18 AM »
Virtually ever since it was formed the rest of the signatory nations to NATO, have shrugged off their obligations to the organization, opting instead to spend what was
due to NATO on social programs at home, relying on Uncle Sam to defend their negligent behinds.

Those European countries for the most part, depend upon Iranian produced petroleum, but when asked to help guide oil tankers, many their own, through the
imperiled straight of Hormuz, they effectively told Uncle Sam to "pound salt" !

This could effectively end the whole alliance !  ... And although the president has warned them concerning this minimum of help, they have replied essentially, that
    'this is not our fight'.

For instance, NATO member Estonia, a tiny country formerly behind the Iron curtain and bordering Russia, strongly refuses to help.

So, if they keep with that attitude, and the USA tells NATO to pound salt in return...Estonia could be a prime candidate for a Russian adventure..

Then if Estonia were attacked, who would they burn to for help?  Would it be the UK, who had to jury rig one lame destroyer to protect their vulnerable citizens in
Cyprus...to arrive on post weeks later.

Or perhaps France or Belgium, would like some arctic combat..

This kind of perfidy may serve only for the US to build a supremely powerful western hemisphere alliance, leaving NATO to die on the vine..

I can only think of the story of  The Little Red Hen, which used to be in all children's reading books, which taught moral stories before the socialists screwed them around..

Just give the story about 1 minute o0f your time..  https://www.youtube.com/shorts/oZciwxYrHZQ

Perhaps when Iranians gain their freedom, these shirkers should pay a premium for their oil...perhaps a premium going to the US, from grateful Iranians.

Trump said we don’t need them… just wanted to hear their responses or maybe lack thereof.
Oh, and I hope we do end participation in nato.
