Well this way,  the left-wing BSers cannot say the Supreme Court is a puppet of Pres. Trump, a very good thing in politics.

What gets me is when experts don’t agree, I mean someone or all are definitely not experts. When supposed supreme justices don’t agree… following my drift?

I’ve felt this way for a while too. These people are supposed to KNOW the constitution. How can they always see it differently. It’s like reading a map…there’s no emotion to interpret, no mystery to unravel. Is it a problem of reading comprehension?

Well, Trump appointed two of the Justices that ruled against him.  Maybe he should have been more careful on his selections.

Kills me here, guys.  When SCOTUS rules in favor of something you happen to like, it's all good.  When they rule against something you like, they are bastards of the worst order, and should be ostracized from the planet.  You can't have it your way all the time.

They ruled correctly......laying of tariffs, fees, duties, etc. is reserved to Congress.  Just because previous Congress-es have been lazy and allowed previous administrations to make & set tariffs, does not change the Constitution.

That being said, maybe it's high time that Congress did shoulder their responsibilities.  Previous admin's have allowed things to get badly unbalanced concerning international trade, and that's part of the reason(s) why we're in the trade deficit problem that we're in.

Mr. Trump was elected to be a PRESIDENT......not a dictator with dictatorial authority.  IMO, he's not representing me/us in a fashion I find agreeable, and should therefore start keeping his personal opinions and comments to himself, and be A PRESIDENT, not a spoiled little, unruly rich kid.

Just my opine.....Roger

I agree with the first sentence of GTS 225s post.  From what I have read, and sources, the SC basically told trump that he could not issue tariffs under emergency clause.  Now, based on everything I have read, that was Plan A, Plan B was in the wings and immediately instituted, so Tariffs will stand.  Do I like the short term results for the consumer, no.  Do I think the long term results will be great for all of us, positively.  Now, since I do not claim to be perfect, I may have a different view than some.  My opinion, when you play chess with a good business man there is always, a plan B along with C & possible D.  Just my nickels worth.

I agree somewhat, but I feel there are definitely Justices that rule with political motivation. Why are there liberal justices on the SC? Like Sotomayor, Kagan, and Jackson. There should not be leftist ideology infused into decisions. They all should rule,  based what the Constitution says.

Now, here I find myself to be in total agreement.  There absolutely shouldn't be any political motivation in a SCOTUS member.

Just my opinion, just like what the SC did. Things have got so complicated with all the different laws in the last 60-80 years, maybe longer. Not just at the federal level either. Way to many local judge's rule from a political level also, and that's completely wrong. One of the reasons this country is in such a state of confusion. Not good!!
