Old houses..
« on: Today at 11:03:26 AM »
In a recent message I repeated an old point..which says.. "In America, 100 years is a long time, while in Europe 100 miles is a long way."

I pointed out that here in the US we tend to think that if a neighbor has a house that is 175 or 200 years old...that's a long time, which prompts me to mention some that are older.

  Here's one in France...   https://www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/travel_news/article-4593600/The-oldest-inhabitated-buildings-world.html

   In England..  https://www.thevintagenews.com/2017/04/06/saltford-manor-the-oldest-inhabited-private-house-in-england/

   ...And Scotland..   https://www.exploringgb.co.uk/blog/traquairhousescotland

  All continually occupied..
