What has Bondi done?
« on: December 20, 2025, 09:05:12 AM »
Basically nothing. A couple if indictments that she screwed up, and not one political criminal arrested. Never really did like her, and so far her track record as head of DOJ is pathetic. Trump needs to be rid of her. I'm sure the deep state loved her being chosen.

Look! Donald Trump is in charge......Period. It's quite obvious, if you don't do your job as he expects it to be carried out..... Your fired! This thing with the Epstein files, It's going to be so redacted (I hate that new word) Deleted, edit or revise is really the true meaning. I believe as many others do, the Names involved will be (DELETED) to protect the guilty, and do you really believe Trump isn't in the know?

I don't believe Bondi is leading the so called investigation into this crapola. They don't give a hoot about protecting the names of the victims. They want to protect their own azzes. JMHO! ;)

the right/left yardstick is a French Revolution-born human measure. It reflects the political spectrum, which is determined by the people’s range of beliefs. Christians, however (and everyone, in fact), should make Truth their yardstick. This inerrant guide doesn’t compromise and build consensus, either; it’s not a politician. It dictates where reality lies. And in a civilization claiming 2+2=5, it’s with the “extremist” who insists it’s 4. For God’s realism so often is man’s radicalism.

100%--Put her with Patel, whole lot of talking, not seeing the results. Not sure if this is why Bongino is quitting. Possibility he's seen what goes on behind the curtain, knows he's just a figurehead with no real power, and calling it quits. This last almost year with the ''new'' administration of Trump, sure has been a roller coaster. Done some really good, and other stuff, not so good.

I think Bondi is the reason Bongino is getting out. He was on Fox saying its because of no personal life. We know that isn't the reason. I think he just couldn't handle the corruption and ineptness within the FBI, and DOJ. Who really has been fired from the FBI? With all the corruption in the FBI from the Biden adminestration, there has been very little weeding out. I personally think Trump will be getting rid of Bondi, before the mid terms. And rightfully so.

I cannot claim any inside knowledge, but I do know it takes some time to develop a solid case.  This is especially true, when a previous administration may have been
concealing certain key cases...or even leaving rabbit trails to follow..

  For example...  https://www.foxnews.com/politics/doj-sues-dc-over-restrictive-gun-laws?fbclid=IwY2xjawO2gc5leHRuA2FlbQIxMQBzcnRjBmFwcF9pZBAyMjIwMzkxNzg4MjAwODkyAAEetp5OfotblUt2wAMO5

Bongino was probably asked to step down. Truth be known! I think Bongino is the kind of man needed to lead the top cop position in the Federal Government. I also believe he is the type that will never hold that position. Too honest, and not an azz kisser. Look, Trump demands complete compliance from the people under him. I don't think Bongino is the type to do that.

DOJ Sues D.C. Over Firearm Registration Rules
« Reply #6 on: Today at 11:30:17 AM »
How about this for something she's done. There are several other similar things she has done regarding second amendment. I'll post them as I see the stories.

https://www.newsmax.com/us/doj-washington-d-c-gun-rights/2025/12/22/id/1239325/

The Department of Justice filed a lawsuit against the District of Columbia and the Metropolitan Police Department, alleging that the city's firearm registration practices block lawful registration and ownership of firearms.

The lawsuit argues that Washington, D.C., effectively bans AR-15-style rifles and other firearms protected under federal law by refusing to register them despite the Supreme Court precedent recognizing an individual right to possess commonly used firearms for lawful purposes.

Under D.C. law, residents must register firearms with Metropolitan Police, but the DOJ says the city maintains an overly restrictive process that prevents law-abiding citizens from legally owning protected firearms.

The department alleges the city's practices have forced residents to seek relief through the courts and risk arrest for possessing firearms that are lawful under the Constitution.

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi said the lawsuit reflects the Justice Department's commitment to enforcing Second Amendment protections and added that residents of the nation's capital should not be barred from exercising constitutional rights.

Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon said the Civil Rights Division filed the case to ensure that rights recognized by the Supreme Court are enforced in practice and not undermined by illegal local administrative barriers.

The lawsuit references the 2008 Supreme Court decision in District of Columbia v. Heller, which held that the Second Amendment protects an individual's right to keep a semi-automatic firearm in the home for lawful purposes such as self-defense.

The DOJ said that despite that ruling, the District continues to block firearm ownership through a pattern of denying registrations, resulting in what it describes as unconstitutional enforcement.

The case is part of a larger effort by the Justice Department to address what it views as violations of Second Amendment rights by state and local authorities.

The DOJ brought similar lawsuits this year against the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and the U.S. Virgin Islands Police Department, alleging unlawful delays and practices in firearm permitting that amounted to effective denials.

Those cases focused on concealed carry and licensing delays that the DOJ said interfered with lawful gun ownership.

The department said it will continue reviewing complaints nationwide and urged Americans who believe they are being unlawfully prevented from owning or registering firearms to contact the Civil Rights Division's Second Amendment Section.
