How trhe mighty sometimes fall..
« on: November 28, 2025, 01:50:10 PM »
There is a current PBS "documentary" being shown these days.  By the historian, Ken Burns, it purports to explain our American revolution, including the events
    leading up to it's conclusion.

Heretofore, Ken Burns has had a good reputation as an historian.  ..But it seems that to please his PBS sponsors, he has taken the fork in the road, that leads to political correctness and wokeism.

Here, Matt Walsh takes him to task, pointing to the inaccuracies and what appear to be outright lies by omission.

..Looks to me that he has sold his reputation for a "mess of pottage"!       https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMsJGnn-h_4

He is an ultra-left wing, jackass , so he has no reputation to sell.

I have seen several episodes and it tells much of what was not taught in Grade School when I was youg, BUT-BUT- Burns is twisting with liberal lie and false narration.

It is worth watching but you have sift the BS from the truth.
It is best to have a computer handy while watching so you can double check to see if what is said is BS.

I have the series recorded but haven't watched any of it yet. Tonight I watched the first two episodes of the second season of Elkhorn, the story of Teddy Roosevelt out in the Dakotas as a rancher.
