We got up and watched the Macy's Parade till we left for a dinner at The Green Mill.
Then we came home and watched the The Natioaal Dog Show.  Ater that we saw a PBS show called My Life as a Turkey, in which a gent raised a nest of turkeys, from eggs, a farmer had left on his doorstep.

The show was based on a ture story and the gent who has originally done it, was the narrator.
They had an exact recreation of the story - from the get-go - with an actor, supervised by the origianl gent.
He said they were very, very fortunate that the recreation set of turkeys had personalities very close to the original.

As was expected, but still a bit sad. In the end the tureys matured and left except one Tom turkey, but he finally matured to the point it attacked the man (they saw him as another turkey).
After that he never saw another turky in the area, of any kind.

The meat at the Green Mill was pretty good as they had ham and turkey with the normal other sides.
I was dissapointeehd that the turkey was turkey loaf but the ham was sliced off of a ham at a  serving table.
The desert table was a Lot OF a standard variety but they also had small chocolate covered Cream Puffs.  I wish had taken more of those and skipped the pie; they were UMMMM GOOD.

Godspeed to you all and I hope your Thanksgiving was a good time with family and friends. 8)

We had Thanksgiving with Lindas family yesterday. This mornin I got up to 22 degrees clear and calm weather. After feeding and checking cattle, and my bulls,  I sat in my truck and watched mule deer does, and a couple a flocks of turkeys feeding. A pretty good Thanksgiving morning.

Now it's the Cowboys vs the Chiefs
