watched my first hockey game in 42 years.
I started watch a fair amount after the game started but the first twenty or so minutes was, neither real boring, but slow enough that I knew why I was never much of a hockey fan.
The last 15 minutes was actually quite interesting as the Gophers were beating a team with a much better record, and one Minn. player , as the announcer said: "Could not buy scoring a goal shot".
His shots repeatedly his the goal's frame and bounced over or off to the side.
The very end reminded me of the game where the U.S. team beat the Soviets in the Olypics.
Thre was no fighting till after the game was over when two players got into a tussle tht took 3 referees to finlly break up.
Apparently that is legl in College hockey as there was no penalty.
I may not watch another game, but I am glad I watched that one.
