911 Revisited
« on: Yesterday at 02:42:30 PM »
20 years ago 17 muslims (15 were Saudis) common-deered 4 jet airliners, killed everyone on all 4 planes, plus almost 3,000 more in 2 high rise buildings. Solution: attack Iraq (a war we lost), and a country that had nuthin to do with it, and Afghanistan which resulted in a 20 year war that also we lost.

Now, to prove that idiocy is thriving in NYC, the voters (87% were young white women) voted into the mayors office, not only a self-admitting SOCIALIST but also a radical Islamic Muslim who in his victory speech,  loudly and repeatedly threatened the president of the Un-United States.

IT WOULD BE IMPOSSIBLE TO MAKE UP ANY CRAZIER $H!T THAN THIS.

You can't tell people anything anymore.
They don't want to hear it.
Too busy making excuses and enabling
criminal behavior and diddling with their phones.
I guess when none of the electronic
stuff works and the utilities no longer ute,
and the radical pinheads have dropped all
the cell towers, they might take notice
18 MINUTES.  . . . . . .

I beg to differ, we won the war in Iraq, we just didn't have sense enough to leave the mess afterward and tried to turn them into a democracy which they had no interest in being.

If we had packed up and left after the war ended it would have been chalked up in the WIN column and most of the American lives lost would not have been lost. Same for Afghanistan. We just didn't have sense enough to leave once the war was over. No one from the outside has ever successfully occupied Afghanistan.

Well, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. In Iraq we killed a lot of Iraqis and got a lot of young Americans killed, and maimed for life, but accomplished nothing Those young Americans, and their families are still suffering. . I don't see any winning there.
In Afghanistan, I'm in total agreement on the occupation. Alexander the Great got ran out of there, and so on, and so on. And once again, we killed a lot of Afghans, and got a lot of young Americans killed and maimed for life, with them, and their families still suffering, but once again, accomplished nothing. I don't see a win there.
With Vietnam, it was the same, only there we lost 54,000 American lives with thousands more maimed for life. And once again,  accomplished nothing.
I see an historical pattern there, beginning after WWII, which resulted in total surrender by Japan, and Germany. 2 obvious wins.
