 Probably do to the fact that him, Gore, and other multi-millionaires/billionaires have been finally been pushed by the right wing media, as to how it looks, when they scream save the planet, while they fly around in private jets, and cruise the oceans in yacht's. Greta Thunburg, who hadn't even graduated high school was a climate expert, and made a speech at the UN? Of course Gates might have another reason, since his name is ''supposedly" on the Epstein list. Maybe he's got a bigger problem than climate change.

The sun is about 1 million times larger than earth.  Wonder why it doesn't affect climate as much as human CO2 production?  One large Chinese coal fired power plant produces more CO2 than all of the US, Canada, and Germany combined.  Wonder why no one is fussing at China.

  I don't suppose the sudden change of mind is due to Gates venturing into AI in a big way.  ...And AI requires world's more electrical energy than wind or solar farms can begin to produce, perhaps needing coal, petroleum or nuclear to come on line.

Grok AI (Elon Musks AI) is located in south Memphis.  They built some large natural gas power plants to power it.  It was/is the fastest way to get a power station built.  Large jet engine sized turbines running natural gas.  Clean and efficient. 

Oh, Musks new huge Mars rocket uses liquid methane made from natural gas.  Natural gas is mostly methane with about 5% impurites in it.  A study was done back several years ago that if they put all the cow manure in covered pools from dairy farms and feed stalls, it could produce enough natural gas to supply all the residential natural gas needs in America.  It would cost about twice what drilling and fraking cost however.

  I worked with A.O. Smith, Harvestore silos, before they dropped the line. We built large, covered, slurry tanks for farmers.  Many of those farmers utilized the methane gas that was produced.

  The alternative for farmers was the open  "lagoon" style storage, which of course, didn't capture the methane or the nitrogen.
