Honoring “ woke is a joke “ day/Columbus day

So, that being said, Monday is Christopher Columbus Day and I have gained a bit of Italian culture. I don’t kiss women when I greet them (usually) butt, my Stepdad was Italian and taught me some recipes and ways of cooking, also we shared many bowls of pasta across each other at the table.
     When I would come in late or even sneak in after sneaking out He would be waiting on me with the hour long carburetor story. Don’t ask. He could run this story into the ground as both a form of instruction and torture for my illicit behavior. We became great friends until his parting. I for one will be honoring Christopher Columbus Day and more then likely have a bowl of pasta.

LOL, guess they took it down since it was about the real Columbus because it being Columbus Day.
I checked it before I posted it, and it worked fine. Now it doesn't.

I read it right after you posted it. Not sure how much of it to believe or to not believe. Matters not to me tho as I could care less about him good or bad. He didn't discover the US mainland, just some islands.

I'm sure he was no worse and no better than the other Spanish folks who came to the Americas. I find nothing to celebrate in him.

If I am not mistaken, the Vikings didn't have a written language at the time, thus word didn't spread to the rest of Europe.  Oral history along with archeology found out about the Vikings. 

Columbus documented everything, distances, ect. and reported back to Spain.  Thus began the exploration by the Spanish and others to the New World.  That is why Columbus day is honored or we wouldn't be here.

I have read of ships fishing off the coast of America long before Columbus discovery. The leftists are busy bashing and toppling statues of Columbus so I’ll celebrate the day regardless and refer to it as “woke is a joke day “  :). The unamericans will never quit trying to destroy this great nation and I will defend it till death. I do not know enough about Columbus so I’m not dying on that hill.

The article I posted posted didn't paint a very good picture of Columbus as a human being, but he was likely no worse than any of the other explorers that came to America to rape, pillage, and plunder the country. When they couldn't cheat, and enslave the native Americans anymore, they imported in the blacks.

Most American born citizens of
Italian descent celebrate Columbus
day because he was Italian.
In Spain, they celebrate the Pinzon
brothers who were mostly responsible
for whatever success the mission
had, and how it wouldn't have ever
happened without them.

Its not really about celebrating Columbus day, whether you do or don't.  Its about the lefts constant drive to erase our history.
