Cracker Barrel goes woke...more likely to go broke..

  Woke female CEO decides to do a makeover on  Cracker Barrel.

    It seems she is removing everything that customers appreciated about Cracker Barrel..turning it into "just another average restaurant..

  Right off, they lost value, estimated between $100 and $200 million, trying the old Bud light trick !

  So you may wonder, even if they are woke, why would they plunge their corporation value so deeply ?

  I think it is just more evidence of just how brainwashed and indoctrinated they are, and they seem to actually believe such dumb stunts will pay off !

  So you may wonder why the top execs at CB did this, the video below may help to explain..you only need to watch a couple minutes of it..

  I think you would have enjoyed the original Cracker Barrel restaurants..  They were filled with old mechanic's and farm tools..old tin advertising signs and a huge variety of nostalgic items, plus old fashioned candies and gifts..

You could add stupid to brainwashed and indoctrinated. Did the CEO's of Cracker Barrel actually think this was going to help their business? Since they did the makeover, obviously they did think it would help. Some are just to stupid to learn from history.

Somebody on a different thread pointed out to me that .001% of the population ate at Cracker Barrel. I replied that 100% of the Cracker Barrel customers ate there, and it was a dirty trick to try to turn the whole thing woke. I further suggested that if companies want to mess with branding like this, that they should hang their fag flags and rainbows outside,  so we could keep on driving.

Both the CEO and chief marketing officer are young woke women.  Same thing happened to Bud Lite, young woke woman was their marketing officer.  Bud Lite never really recovered, still sells, but from what I understand much less market share.  Cracker Barrel should have done like other companies, changed a couple of stores to see what would happen before changing every store.  They are even changing the menu.

 From what I read, change the menu, and she didn't want a ''white man'' in their logo. Probably been 15 years since I was in one, drive by one quite often. I never noticed the guy in the logo was black, white or any other color. But, leave it to a liberal,college educated white woman to screw things up. Wont miss them if they do go broke.

I always liked Cracker Barrel.  When I heard they were um, changing, the first thing I thought was "I wonder what they are going t do with all the neat stuff they had for decor?"  I couldn't go into one without saying to myself I would love to have this or that item; old guns, McClellan saddles, farm implements, etc.

My next thought was "did they change the menu?"  I never had a bad meal there, but I dearly loved the chicken and dumplings and fried chicken livers.

And I can't understand the reasoning behind the change.  I would think that profit should be the motive, but every one I went to was always busy and many times there was a wait for a table.  Especially on Sundays after Church.

I'm going to go to one here locally just to see the changes for myself, but if it turns out to be as I expect it will loose it's spot on my favorites list.

They did a woke stunt a few years back and I’ve cut my visits and just recently went back a couple times. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me…

Was in a cracker barrel maybe 3 times in my life. The last time was maybe 10 years ago. Certainly don't need to go to one now. Too many other good places that serve good food, and food better than what I remember getting from cracker barrel. I always thought they needed the fancy gift shop to attract people. Never thought it was the food that would attract people.

Naaah!  MAGA may have some power, but I'd bet that in this case, MONEY, or the loss of monetary value, was the power behind this U-turn.  Investors don't like seeing their money pissed away in a social experiment.

Too little, too late. IMO. While I loved the atmosphere and really liked the food, I believe I’m done with kamala barrel unless somehow I’m convinced I was given disinformation in this case. Country and blue collar and moral people were the customer base, there may have been a few leftists there eating just like Chick-fil-A that kept their heads down and tried to blend.

I like Cracker Barrel. Nobody wants their Cracker Barrel to look like every other Denny’s in the country. Maybe this chick will get the axe like the one at Budweiser. When will they ever learn?

 We don't have any Cracker Barrels down in our neck of the woods, but I used to go when we were closer to one. I enjoyed eating breakfast, and their chicken fried steak always put a smile on my face.

     In all my years, I have/had driven by Cracker Barrel restaurants , but I am not sure I ever ate at one; it could be they are one of those places where - I am going to eat there some day - but when some day came they were no more. (Usually out of business, and , this is not bs, a Lot of them closed less than month before I was going there.)

I used to watch such goings on, but got bored and quit. I don't really care if they survive or not,  and look at'em the same way I do Walmart. If they've got what I need, I go in and get it. If I'm hungry and Crackerhead is what is available, I'll go in and eat. If I boycotted every business that didn't have the same politics as myself, I wouldn't have any place to go.

  I never noticed if the CB man was black, white, red or blue !  He always looked to me like he was primarily a rusty yellow..
