Why Should the Un-United States Stand With Israel?

Israel is a western nation with western values, however Jewish.  Israel does allow Muslims to be citizens.  They have to renounce terrorism, etc.  Most Muslim nations do not tolerate non-Muslims as citizens unless they were born there.  Then you saw how the Christians and Druze people were killed, tortured, or made slaves with ISIS in Syria.  Same in Iran, Pakistan and other places.  At the very least they are second class citizens. 

The Israeli Mossad gives us better information than our own CIA. 

Christians are allowed to visit Israel and the places Jesus traveled.  They encourage tourism as it is a source of income for them.  Wars and terrorist activities keep tourists away. 

Israel also has a democratic elected parliamentary system.  Do Muslim countries have this?  Most have kings or others running their country.  They may have a parliament, but with limited powers that a king or military dictator ultimately has all the power. 

Jews, being scattered all over Europe by the Romans in 70 AD were relegated to slums and ghettos during the middle ages, but developed the modern banking system.  It was hard for people to carry around gold and silver coins all the time, so they issued paper money in exchange for storing peoples gold and silver for a small fee.  People began to like paper money as it was much easier to carry around.  Then with the gold in their banks, they began to loan money for interest.  They got rich doing this, thus the envy of others of the Jews resulting in the NAZI's blaming the Jewish bankers for loosing WWI. 

The English after taking Palestine from the Turks allowed the Jews to return to their homeland.  This became a flood after WWII from all the poor Jews left in Europe after being stripped of all their possessions by the NAZI's. 

This is the reason the US and most of the rest of the world stood with Israel from their modern beginning after WWII.  They tried to live with the Arabs that were there, but most wouldn't have non of it.  So Israel had to fight 3 wars and terrorists ever since.

 Well, after what Trump did bombing Iran, not sure we're needed their for awhile. Little research, since 1951 we have given Israel over 305 billion in aid, military and otherwise, that was in the form of grants, so they don't have to pay them back. And with this country just passing the 37 trillion in debt level, we better start paying more attention to our problems. I believe, America's greatest Ally is the US tax payer. We started out with income tax at 3%, now it's over 30%. Time for us to get a break, and let Israel stand on it's own.

fact is Richard the women in Israel have more balls than 3/4s of the men in this country. Matter of fact that applies to most countries. Most here lost the "duty to country" after the Korean war. Only way they even consider putting their ass on the line is if their paycheck on Friday is big enough. if you took away all our high tech weapons i think  Israel or Ukraine could wipe the ground with us. Theyve got something that we lost. Bravery, duty to country and the willingness to die to defend it.

  We should back Israel, since both they and we are on the Ayatollah's hit list, slated for destruction. With those crazed minds that are wishing for our destruction to fulfil   
   their theological Armageddon, And Israel being virtually the only nation in the area which is not run either by theocracy or autocracy, for us to work as a team would only be a natural alliance .

  Furthermore; while being a nation which allows those who disagree politically, theologically, economically and militarily, to dwell peacefully within their borders, we and Israel are reflections of one another...a naturally shared national character.

  Then too, I can unabashedly admit that since Judaism is in a theological sense, is Christianity's "grandfather", our historical kinship through Jesus should help to tie the bond !

   Besides, Richard has a point ! The photo below, looks unlike any fellow tank crew member I ever had !

I agree that Israel is the only semblance of a democracy in the middle east, and pretty much our only "real ally". Theologically they are as lost as any other non Christian, and recognize Christ only as a profit, and not as the Messiah.

  True; the Lord says the Jews, his chosen people , "are a stiff necked people"..

   God demonstrate his relationship to Israel, through the story of Hosea.  Hosea took Gomer for his own..even though she would not likely be faithful.  ..And God chose Israel, even though He knew they would prove fickle..
