You be careful out there with all of those roadside hazards, bike speed capable (just one time) of astronomical velocity, hair-on-fire one minute and suddenly everything going to **** the next minute as an inadvertant (or advertant) bump becomes the pathway to your next hospitalization.  Exacerbated road rash, aches, and pains, which could have been/should have been avoided won't "feel better" through pain dulling medication.  You have enough metal rods in you to build a small foundation.

Land_Owner makes a good point, but I prefer to point out the lack of attention so many "drivers" are showing at maneuvering 3000-4000 pound vehicles around in traffic.  As a former rider, I loved the freedom, but nowadays, with all the morons on the road, it's getting rather hazardous, and difficult to try to drive for EVERYBODY around you, being as they're so poor at driving for themselves.

Be safe.,....Roger

ive ridden and still ride harleys since ive been 26. funny thing is im still alive. some good road rash once but it was back in my drinking days and totally my fault. did spend 3 days in the hospital one for a car wreck (truck) from an idiot that t-boned me. so maybe i should quit driving car because theyre so dangerous. keep in mind i dont live in some high traffic city area. nearest 4 lane highway is a 150 miles away and if ive got time to wasted there is an extensive trail system up here snowmobilers use in the winter that i can take to get to any place in the Upper Peninsula without driving on a single blacktop road. i posted this same comment the other day. im near 70. lived my life with gusto and dont plan to let fear take over now! if i die on one of my bikes so be it. i died doing what i love. beats the hell out of being a vegetable in the old folks home at 90! if thats what God is thinking for me than take me today. ill probably quit riding, at least on the street, someday. but it will be after i look at myself and honestly think im endangering others. road rash and bumps and bruises are something i laugh at. ive felt pain EVERY DAY for near 50 years and laugh at people afraid of a booboo. suck it up and keep living. because if you hide from everything because you fear dying or needing a band aid your already dead!
