Bob, did you happen to consider that possibly Trump is using reverse psychology ? Had Trump endorsed Pollievre and he was elected to lead Canada, then Alberta and Saskatchewan would have come into line, hoping to reverse the many decadees of maltreatment coming from Ottawa.
Could it be that the game Trump has been playing (Canada 51st state), was aimed primarily at Alberta, Canada's most conservative province?
If the US could align with, or fully claim the province as our 51st state...since Canada, (actually Alberta) is third in the world for energy, we would end up the energy king of the world, by far.
Were that to happen, can you imagine the worldwide leverage that would provide for the USA? ..And we can use all the leverage we can get !
