Yes but will he be a Christian seems to be the question.

I only said black or asian because western civilization isn't sending their 2nd sons to seminary any more. Most new priests are African or Asian.

seems some here are worried about something that has no effect on them ;) im catholic and dont give a rats ass. has as much influence on my sunday mass as the king of england influences the canadian government. if they elected vance as pope the haters here would tear him down and do their part to weaken Christianity as a whole. why a protestant would even post on it has me scratching my head

Kinda what Lloyd said... but I give a little more then a rat's ass.  :-\ Not much, about like who's the next queen of england gonna be.   ;)  Certainly won't have as much personal effect on me as Vatican II did!

The Pope whomever he/she will be, affects us all as they represent Christianity to the non Christians. If i had a nickel for every time somebody brings up the pope to me, whom they know is a baptist pastor, but somehow think the pope speaks for all of us, i'd be swimming in nickels.
