  Hat's off to the Irish today..their special day..

   I can only claim a bit of Irish blood through my maternal grandmother, who oin her own words was "as Irish as Paddy's pig"..

     We usually go a restaurant for a St. Paddy's meal but today have not decided yet.
A few years back we went to a St. Paddy's buffet which was pretty good.

 Ah yes!  ..The wearing of the green..

  ..And for myself or any others whose descent is from the Scottish side, we have April 6th, where we are to wear some sort of tartan, preferrably
  our own.

  April 6th is the anniversary of the Treaty of Arbroath..when Scotland assured herself of another few hundred years of independence.
