Walmart sardines
« on: July 06, 2023, 04:33:08 PM »
I usually buy a different name
brand sardine, but I've been thinking
about some different options since
the price went up by about a quarter
apiece. I've been eyeballing the
Walmart Great Value sardines for a
quarter less than the name brand
cans, and I finally jumped and
bought a couple.
Pretty good. Good taste and texture
Not all gummy and pasty. Slight
smoky flavor although the can doesn't
specifically state smoky flavor on
the front
Not bad at all overall

I am I suppose, like many..  My yen for sardines, runs in streaks.  Sometimes I will have a couple cans in a week, but then run for 3-4 months before i crack another..

Maybe twice a year.

Sardines do not belong in the food category.  They are either bait or fertilizer.
