A Catholic Priest got it right.

  Sure he has it right !  We must keep in mind, that there is a division in the RC Church, just as there has developed among the Presbyterians, the Southern Baptists, the United Methodists, Mennonites and others.....

   Some are leaving behind the word of God,. and proceeding to adopt this transitory "woke" agenda..  ADopting the "woke' agenda, may get
     them some place, but I doubt it is anywhere you or I would want to end up !

we had a priest like him he is one of my friends but was pushed into retirement by a bishop that was intimidated by him and his outspokenness. one sunday in church his sermon was condemning homosexuality. he said there are homosexuals in this parish and dont be so stupid to think i dont know who you are, you will no longer be given communion in this church. your welcome to come to mass and pray for gods forgiveness and your even welcome to come up during communion and i will bless and pray for you but you will not receive Holy communion. the church broke out in applause and the 3 homosexuals that everyone knew about (small town) and a retired teacher and a college professor all got up and walked out. the applause got loude.

 three weeks later the priest was over for supper and said he was retiring. i knew something was fishy because its pretty rare for a priest to retire until he can no longer step up to the alter because there so short of priests. we got punished too. the trend because of lack of priests is to ship them over from other countries. most of them speak poor English and some little to none. what they do is put them in the smallest parishes and move the ones that now speak it better to the larger ones. we are the third largest parish in the area and that bishop gave us one so bad that our decon basically has to do all the talking. our old one sand my buddy is retired and on the beach in florida. he told me just why he picked that state and its pretty obvious to anyone here

Yes of course its just not part of the RC church that accepts things like abortion, and homosexuality.  The PCUSA has accepted homosexual clergy into their ranks, and have accepted the marriage of same sex couples in their church, and by their pastors.  Its just one of the reasons our church left the PCUSA years ago.

   I believe the great winnowing is going on while we speak, and God will bless those who stand strong for His word..

yup hes was real!! you might not like his answer when you ask a question but you knew he was right. even if you were wrong and didnt ask hed make sure you knew it. he shot square from the hip and didnt bend or compromise or twist Jesus's words, he lived them. he was hard core but under that shell i never met a more caring man
