:D lgm270,

I wouldn't catorgarize them as a custom, but a semi-custom grip maker. Try Hogue's, I've installed them on my S&W's, and Colts and have been happy with the fit and feel.

Igm270:  Ajax makes aftermarket grips for those handguns and so does (dang, CRS has set in) the folks who made the Buffalo Horn grips for my S&Ws - I'll try and get the name of them for you.  Nice stuff they make.  Mikey.

Grips, again

Igm270:  Please forgive my CRS.  The other grip maker that comes to mind (thankfully there is still something there to come to) is Eagle Grips.  I have purchased their Buffalo Horn grips for my N-Frame S&Ws and they are beautiful and functional grips.  Something about the Buffalo Horn that feels good in the hand, even if you have been sitting in a tree stand for long enough to freeze your kazoo off and the gun has been snowed or rained on, those grips seem warm, comfortable and familiar to the touch, immediately.  They came in the 'service panel' configuation, which is the small grip.  You would have to inquire to see if they come in a larger size if that is your preference.  HTH.  Mikey.

If you are looking for a compact design, I love the Craig Spegal Boot Grip.

BTW, Mikey, My doctor told me I also have CRS, but he calls it CRAFT.
