Forget about our decaying infrastructure. Its all about pumping money to billionaires and the boondoggle called green energy.

We are enjoying more UFO objects, train wrecks and attacks upon electric power station attacks, public shooting attacks. store lootings ($950 & under), more illegals, more fentanyl, and Cocaine entering the country than ever
in history.  How did this happen in just 2 years ?

Prolly Trump's fault, just ask Biden I'm sure that's what he'll say. Couldn't be his fault.

2hina and Russia both making a big deal out of it, while fake news is for all practical purposes, almost mum on the subject.

Banner year for chemical train wrecks, multiple Balloons aloft, foreign 'objects' in our skies, our border kaput, fentanyl killing more young Americans per year, than the Vietnam war did in about  8 years..

Shucks..one might think somehow, that we are under attack.. ..Nah..can't be, or our FBI or CIA would have told us before now..

In my opinion on the train wrecks, It's called the chickens coming home to roost.
The large class one RR have been cutting jobs and distributing them to people (workers) that are not properly qualified to do them in cost cutting efforts, just look at the record setting profits, PSR they call it (Precision Scheduled Railroading) doing more with less, trains used to be around 6K feet long they now average 13 to 16K feet coupled with less people doing the inspections, doesn't take a genius to see the result, but hey, look at our profits.

I have heard some of those complaints over the last couple days. Cutting any safety gear or practices in such a way with any chemical, biological or radiological, should result in serious prison time (IMO)

No, no, no, rail transport is 100% safe or so says Holtec, the company wanting to build a temporary radioactive waste storage site southwest of where I live. Only two things are wrong with their plans. It isn't all that safe to transport and temporary is going to turn into permanent if they ever get the stuff moved. What is wrong with leaving it where it is and avoiding the dangers this proposal gives? After all most of it has been in place for decades without a problem. The state and almost everyone in it is against this scheme except the politicians in this area that see tax dollars coming their way if it happens and it will since a regulatory agency of the US government has final say. The politicians eyeing those potential dollars are going to find they will start glowing just like the common folks if a leak occurs. This isn't like the low level crap stored at the WIPP site, also located to the southwest.

It's all pretty simple. The folks where it is now and reaped the benefits from it's use don't want in in their backyard but have no qualms about dumping in someone else's. There are lots more votes there than here so it will happen and Holtec will make many a ton of money, all furnished by who else---the American taxpayer.

They should be held accountable for their brazen lack of putting safety first. Especially when their rail cars are hauling Hazardous chemicals. Of course they never will spend a day in jail, because they funnel millions to corrupt politicians.

Starting to feel all too coincidental...

You may or may not remember all the
grain elevators exploding,  the fertilizer
plants exploding,  ferry boats wrecking
or some other something
Lots of "coincidental " stuff seems to
happen all at one time,  usually when
prices of certain goods aren't "right " ,
or when something needs funding, etc.

Not really it's a lot of miles from here and even better, it's downwind. Dee might need to worry some about Pantex. ;D

Mule, I agree but notice what I said about lack of votes here. It will never happen.

The derailment does not bother me -- (I subscribe to train magazines and derailments quite common, for a long, long time).
It was the response to what happened WITH the derailment, that exposes an asinine self-serving, ONLY,  Washington.
