I am having some trouble getting cast bullets to fit in my RRH.  They slide in and out of the chamber ok, but then I can't cock it.  They are about .002 larger then the jacketed bullets and I know this is the norm.  My question is.  What happens inside that I can't cock it?  I did a post on the reloading board and got help with the bullets, but I was curious as to what makes it not cock.   Any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure they are dropping all the way in till the rims hit the cylinder face? If the cylinder throats are too tight then the loaded rounds may not be dropping all the way in. Then when the cylinder is closed it will be in a bind as it pushes the bullet nose the rest of the way into the throats. Thats the only thing I can think of that would cause what you are describing, unless your primers are not seated flush with the case head. That could also cause your problem.   KN

You could also try seating the bullets a bit deeper, and see if that helps.  The front driving band may be getting jammed into the chamber throat.
