The Queen Is Dead!

The old woman led a life of privilege for 96 years. She never wanted for anything, because of who her mommy and daddy were.
She didn't earn anything. She didn't create anything. It was all given to her. Her life, her castle, her wealth, her station in life. The best of healthcare. Everything.

I listen to these news guys on Fox talking about "her monarchy".

Even Tucker Carlson was talking about what great "colonizers" the British were. Always leaving behind more than the the people had before the British took over.

What a bunch of BS. My history teacher said the European colonists fled England for freedom. My history teacher also said we had to run their sorry asses out of America at gun point.

While it's always a sad occasion when a family member dies, this woman "lived like a queen" LITERALLY, for 96 years.

I ain't happy she died, but nobody has gotten out of this world alive in quite a while.

I don't know, she was what 25 or so when she became queen?  But before then, as a princess she seemed to be military oriented.  And she also seemed not to outgrow her spunk.  Can't say I admired her, but unlike many of our leaders, she hadn't pissed me off enough to feel good she is gone.  May she RIP.

the queen is about as important to me as the pope is to a methodist. They should either go back to actually letting this new king actually rule or phase out the whole royal family bs. Nothing but a waste of money.

Well having thought about it a little, it most likely was a double edged sword. While she inherited her station in life, she likely enjoyed VERY LITTLE privacy, and her private life was  likely non existent.

That said, I agree with Lloyd. Either give them absolute control,  or dispose of the concept.
