Ukraine to Europe: Attack Russia or we won't turn the gas back on.
Russia kept delivering gas despite making threats to shut it off. Some of Russia's pipelines cross Ukraine. So Ukraine figured it could get ahead by cutting the gas supply. Can't make this stuff up.

It's pretty easy to assume that a country being attacked would cut off ANY ASSETS of the ATTACKING COUNTRY.
Russia selling oil to Europe via a pipeline thru Ukraine is poor planning  on Russias part. Hard t believe a country as big as Russia didn't have the fore thought for this. Another source of cash cut off.
Putins cancer must be brain cancer.
So, of course Ukraine shut the pipeline off. They should have done it sooner. Don't feed the bear.

That's the rules here. Ukraine didn't attack Russia. Russia attacked Ukraine. So there ain't no rules when it comes to what Ukraine does to Russia. I hope they end up gutting Russia's economy and Military.

  Keep in mind..before Putin sic'ed his dogs on the Ukraine...there was no, none, nada, zilch..indication that the Ukraine was about to attack Russia.
   So far as most of the world is concerned, thatwould be the ONLY feasible excuse for such an outrageous action !

I'm not defending anyone in this current mess. I don't even know what is going on over there and neither do any of you. You can of course believe whatever media stories you want. Me, I don't believe anything the media or the government says.

I figure there prolly is a war going on over there but I've not been there recently so I honestly don't know. I can only go by what the media I don't believe says.

Fact is none of us sitting at our computers know for sure. All any of us can know is what is reported by folks who are notorious for lying to us. I just can't get all worked up about a war that might or might not even be happening in the real world on the ground over there.

Totally agree, and have been saying so. Ukraine is 6,000 miles away, and any link posted here, can be countered with a link saying the opposite.

One issue I'm POSITIVE of is our own southern border is wide open, but nobody is interested in their own countrys' problems.

  I have a friend who was born in and lives in Ukraine, and he tells me they were attacked by russia and pretty much all of the bad things i'm seeing/hearing on tv are true.

  He also has told me that he has never met a nazi that he knew of, and that he always thought the russians were their friends, he has family in russia.
