Should we accept Ukrainian refugees?
I think we should do so, and do it under the old rules.
No, ethnicity has nothing to do with it ! These people as refugees in many ways, would be far different from what is flooding our southern border at present. Here's how:
1) Many have already cared enough to learn English.
2) Others would it seems, be willing to learn English.
4) They have already demonstrated that they are willing to learn/work.
5) No established drug cartels among them.
6) No MS13 gangs among them.
7) They spring from a nation of hard workers
They know the value of maintaining a nation founded in freedom.
9) It is likely that they could find groups and/or relations that would sponsor them.
10) Sponsored, they would not likely be wards of the state..taking but not contributing.
11) They are from a 1st world country, likely up to date on flu, cholera, polio and other shots
12) I doubt there would be many anti-American terrorists among them.
13) Arriving by ship or plne, they woukd be easier to 'sort out' !
... Those, + many other reasons..
