..Backing out of Kyiv..

   So, after much stalemate and lost time, men and equipment, Vlad decides to pull out of Kyiv.  Why now..why did he wait so long?  Better yet, why did he launch such a risky operation in the first place?

  Kyiv and much of the Ukraine interior is either low lying and wet, heavily wooded, or grain fields ..which are even now, turning into a series of mud pits.  The only good passages are the highways.

     If Putin is so smart, he should know that such a theater is no good place for tanks and
other heavy equipment to operate..they become "sitting ducks" to current anti armor weapons.

  One reason we did not stress tanks in Vietnam..

  If he did not know that, where were his generals?  Are they too terrified of him to even offer their experience?

  Even his infantry is stalled, since they are carried in APCs !

  Doubt me about the theater conditions ?  ... Just go to the Ukraine on Google maps..then take that little yellow man in the lower corner, and go to "street level"..

  So now, Putin has to extricate what is left of his divisions from the Kyiv area.  Ukraine militia will be attacking all the way back to Belarus.
  ..Rather like the British retreating back to Boston from Concord...  Now the Ukraine forces have blown his POL sup[plies in Belarus.

Apparently the only thing Putins' hoodlum army is good at is killing unarmed civilians. Women, children, and old folks don't offer so much of a challenge.

  If he decides to continue, Putin will likely concentrate on the southern cities/seaports.

  His logistics will be somewhat simpler, and he can more easily STARVE the the women, children and aged into submission.
    I wonder if there are any of our Navy Seals are training Ukrainian UDTs while we speak..

  Why, the Russians even captured a couple American generals!  Well, if so....I hope it was a couple of the high rankers from DC, who have been %^*@ing things up in the Pentagon !
