This thread is the "logical" 2nd Gen of that in [CLASSIC] color movies.

Mr. Roberts - Henry Fonda, James Cagney, William Powell, Jack Lemmon

"Monte Walsh" believable plot, good story telling, and probably actually happed thousands of times in real life.

top gun, hunt for red october, Red Dawn (first one) taking chance patriot, and probably a toss up for number one between We were soldiers and lone survior. .
