I have a Dan in 357 and believe the model is 15-2 with the interchangable barrels. Can new barrels still be bought for this gun? I have the 8" and the 4" but would like to have a 6".  Zeak

As long as it is not the really old "pork chop" type of barrel, the new ones will work fine. Although the Dan Wesson website is currently under construction, you can get alot of info, and the barrel's from them. Look through the FAQ's. Hope this help's, Cal

If  it's a 15-2 then it won't be the pork chop style.
Early 14 series had the porkchops
Heres a pic from EBAY of three porchop barrels

Pork Chop Barrel

1)Thanks, for the pictures of the "Pork Chop" DW barrels!  I see, exactly what is mean't by term "Pork Chop', with that tang, hanging down!

2)Monson_Magnum:  I saw your 1972 El Camino, in your pictures!  If I buy the Dan Wesson, 22-VH6, I can carry it home, in my 1967 El Camino!

3)I wonder, how hard it might be, to find an original, Monson, box(Basic, Gun Box)for the DW, 22-VH6?

DW Cases
« Reply #7 on: April 18, 2004, 01:44:10 PM »
I have been lookin at that pistol pack case.
It's from a 44 DW and only has a space for a 8" Revolver and a 6" extra barrel.Extra grip etc. Hunters Pack...
I had the owner send me a pic of the foam underneath.
It's at $41 now & he wants $20 S&H...???
And I have a styrofoam case like the first one.
Useless to keep a Gun In...
And that old one has been runnin for weeks.
I saw one like yours MM go for around $150 last week.
Glad to see I'm not the only one LOOKIN
