They don't get much better than Jimmy Fortune. I like what he is doing now with a group he performs with at times. They call themselves Brotherly Love. Jimmy Fortune, Ben Isaacs, Mike Rogers, and Bradley Walker. They make some good music together.

the right/left yardstick is a French Revolution-born human measure. It reflects the political spectrum, which is determined by the people’s range of beliefs. Christians, however (and everyone, in fact), should make Truth their yardstick. This inerrant guide doesn’t compromise and build consensus, either; it’s not a politician. It dictates where reality lies. And in a civilization claiming 2+2=5, it’s with the “extremist” who insists it’s 4. For God’s realism so often is man’s radicalism.

Joey and Roy Feek more or less put Bradley on the map so to speak. Here is one I love. The fellow playing steel  is Robby Turner, He played steel for the last years of Waylon Jennings life. his mom and dad were in Hank Williams senior first band.

I had never even heard of him until reading your post. I don't believe I missed anything by not knowing.
