I don’t remember being given choice in being vaccinated against childhood diseases. We went to the armory in St. Petersburg, Florida and went through the line. They shot the vaccines into our arm with some kind of air gun. Not trying to start a argument, but how is that any different than taking the shot today?
Friends that went to Nam in the 60s were injected with all kinds of inoculations to protect them for diseases that were prevelant where they would be stationed. Most of them tell me they were not even told what the shots were for. Just line up and take your shots.
Vaccines for disease like Smallpox, Diphtheria, Measles, Mumps, Polio, Rubella, and Tetanus. Keep you from getting the disease at or very near 100% of the time. Many of these diseases have been wiped out from a vaccine. Many of these vaccines took years, and even decades to develop. Mumps was a vaccine that was said to be developed in record time, which was four years. From the time covid came here, a so called vaccine was developed in less than a year, and the so called vaccine does not stop you from getting covid, nor does it stop the spread of it. Yet it is being mandated to the point of ending peoples careers. Covid is no where the threat that polio, mumps, measles smallpox or any of the other diseases were to society. True vaccines were given to stop the spread of debilitating diseases unlike the so called covid vaccine does. To Mule's point. That is the difference. Why force a mandate for the covid shot if it doesn't stop the spread of it? The flu vaccine does not stop the spread of the flu, and many choose to not get the flu shot.
Many feel that the covid jab is being mandated for other reasons than curbing the spread of covid, which it absolutely does not do. Look at a country like Israel. A large portion of the population has been given the jab. Yet covid continues to spread. Now our tyrannical government is moving toward mandating this covid jab to a young population that covid does not even affect. Does that not make you ask why? I don't see the mandates for diseases like smallpox diphtheria, polio, mumps etc.. even comparable to the mandate for a covid shot that is not even close to being a true vaccine. Do you???
When I was a young kid I contacted mumps, and it killed the nerve in my right ear making me completely deaf in that ear at 4 years old. I wish the development of the mumps vaccine would have been further along. If it had been I would have hearing in both ears. Likewise I contacted covid was sick for a couple weeks, and have no lasting affects from it.
