Chicago Shooting Down Only 26 Shot, But 3 Killed!

Shootings are down this weekend in Chicago with only 26 shot, but "shot to kill" ratio is up 3.5% from a 7 to 8% "shot to kill" by fewer being shot but 3 killed, bringing it up to 11.6%.
Is it blind coincidence, or an improvement in marksmanship?

Combination of the two I'd think.  While I don't see these criminals going out doing any marksmanship training, they shoot so often that they are bound to get better at it.

You would think with Chigago's homicide rate so high for so long the bad guys would be thinned out by now. Apparently they are breeding fast enough to take up the slack.

Bad thing is they don't always shoot at each other, it's their robbing victims that get it, and when they do, they miss and hit other innocent victims.
