White privilege caused that that young negroid man to lose his cool. Imagine that white cop having the gaul to tell him he has kids to.
That's enough to enrage any body.

But there is a positive side to all this. The older deputy is gonna recover. The younger deputy got over his shyness. And Paris Wilder doesn't have to show up for his next court date.
It's a win-win, and another win.

To bad the police didn't use some good ole racial profiling, where they may have been more aware of what might happen.  Its a good thing the bad guys weapon was obviously empty since he started to use it as a club.

It's a good thing ole Paris was a bad shot, and picked one of the least accurate, least practical pistols of all time.
If he'd picked a carbine it might have turned out different.
He had no plan other than aggression, and aggression only works on much weaker opponents.

I'm not criticizing the police offer that emptied maybe a 13 to 15 round magazine with one leg hit, because I have no idea how good of a shot I would be in that situation.  But how common is that situation where an officer empties his firearm, and doesn't get any hits to stop the bad guy?  Again it is a good thing the bad guy emptied his magazine, because he was able to come up behind both of the police officers without them knowing his position.

The officer your talkin about was also hit almost immediately. So he wasn't hittin on all eight cylinders.
Accuracy according to law enforcement statistics goes down better than 70% in an actual fight for most field officers. Sometimes more, and sometimes less.
